We’re thrilled to share that the ENDURUNS team has successfully conducted field testing of the GUARD1 intelligent camera in shallow coastal waters. This initiative aimed to evaluate the device’s adaptation to natural light changes in real-world scenarios. The GUARD1 camera was connected to an independent land station, powered by a battery pack to mimic a standalone observatory or an autonomous vehicle (AUV/ USV). The imagery was processed directly onboard the GUARD1 device, and the important data was transmitted to a remote server via a 4G modem.
